I have always found Tank Girl a very appealing character - as her styling and the way she is drawn gives her a very 'fuck you' kind of attitude -which I like particularly in female characters.
I got Tank Girl 1 out of the library with the intention of reading it but MY GOD the pages are all black and white and incredibly busy I had no hope reading it - my eyes were all over the place. But I still love the aesthetic and the attitude of the characters!
I think that the strong, angry, 'fuck you' attitude is similar to what I'd like to instil into my characters/drawings (which I kind of achieved in my COP poster) but I definitely want to find more ways of incorporating my attitude into my work - making work about stuff I feel strongly about would probably be a good start.
